The Curse of the Sleeping

Overview

The plot centers on unusual works of art. Each painting depicts a sleeping person, with a soul trapped within the canvas itself. This curse came into the modern world from an artist who loved his wife with a madness. When she was dying, the master used the power of his emotions to imprison her soul in a portrait. This legend inspired businessman Pavel Voronov to collect paintings of sleeping subjects. He is assisted by photographer Kostya and art historian Agnessa. Meanwhile, the artist Alexey Tikhonov, who dreams of continuing the master's work and learning to trap souls in portraits, is also hunting for these unusual paintings.
