Mata Hari

Overview

Margaret MacLeod, pursued by her ex-husband, loses custody of her daughter and is left to fend for herself with no means of support. She becomes a dancer, desperate to find any other way to make a living.

Under the stage name Mata Hari, Margaret becomes a favorite of the European elite. The doors of luxurious mansions and villas open for her, and every performance causes an incredible sensation. But World War I is approaching, a conflict that will change the course of history forever.

And Mata Hari can hardly guess what role she is destined to play in the unfolding events.
